WELCOME TO MEDICAL LIBRARY
The Medical Library of the University of Kelaniya was established in 1991, based on the foundation laid by the library of the North Colombo Medical College (NCMC). The Library main objective is to fulfill the information needs of academic staff and students of the Faculty of Medicine by providing information resources required for the educational and research programmes of the faculty. The monographs collection mainly consists of medical and health related disciplines, Speech Therapy, Audiology and related disciplines. Current periodicals collection consists of print version of 15 subscribed journals and over 25 titles received as donations including local and WHO (World Health Organization) publications. Users can also access to fulltext online journals through consortium of Academic Libraries of Sri Lanka and EbscoHost database subscribed by the library.
